Vicmari

Vicmari is one of South Africa’s most distinctive electronic music artists, blending hypnotic melodies, groovy bass lines, and acoustic, ambient sounds with classic House grooves.

His journey began in 2011 when he connected with Daniel Paul Behemann, founder of @slopemusic and @cabinet-records in Germany, who became a mentor and helped shape Vicmari’s sound. In 2016, Vicmari released his debut album Audiodidact on @slopemusic, which garnered support from artists like @brendonmoeller and @cabdrivers, quickly selling out all vinyl pressings.

Building on his success, Vicmari refined his live sets, creating immersive experiences that blend hypnotic grooves and transcendent melodies. He’s performed at major events such as Rocking The Daisies, Afrika Burn, Cape Town’s Light House Festival, and Ultra Festival, known for his signature mix of melody, mood, and warm grooves that energize any dancefloor.
